The cover for the Shiraz range is inspired by a book that came to be in possession of Suleiman the Magnificent, the longest-reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. The 16th Century binding was originally made from black goatskin adorned with gold filigree, a design said to have been commissioned by one of the Safavid princes of Shiraz.
